Radial Velocities of Population II Binary Stars. Ii.
Here we publish the second list of radial velocities for 91 Hipparcosstars, mostly high transverse velocity binaries without previous radialvelocity measurements. The measurements of radial velocities are donewith a CORAVEL-type radial velocity spectrometer with an accuracy betterthan 1 km/s. We also present the information on eight new radialvelocity variables -- HD 29696, HD 117466 AB, BD +28 4035 AB, BD +302129 A, BD +39 1828 AB, BD +69 230 A, BD +82 565 A and TYC 2267-1300-1-- found from our measurements. Two stars (HD 27961 AB and HD 75632 AB)are suspected as possible radial velocity variables.

Kinematics of 11 Bidelman's weak-lined stars
Radial velocities obtained with the CORAVEL-type spectrometer arepresented for 11 Bidelman's weak-lined stars, classified from moderatedispersion objective prism spectra. Standard errors of the measurementsare smaller than 1 km/s. For five of these stars, measured in theVilnius photometric system, only small metal deficiency is established.Kinematically, most of the stars belong to the thin disk and only twostars, HD 71185 and BD +75 ° 641, are consistent with membership ofthe thick disk population.

Objective-Prism Spectral Classifications of 26 Northern Stars
Classifications are given for 26 northern stars noted in an inspectionof 33 Burrell Schmidt objective-prism plates. Most are believed topossess peculiar spectra that have not previously been noted; none arecontained in the Henry Draper Catalogue.

UBV photometry of stars whose positions are accurately known. II
The present report on the UBV observations of stars with favorableastrometric history gives attention to stars of the BD zones lyingbetween 50 and 54 deg. These observations and their reductions wereperformed from August 1983 to August 1984, as described by Oja (1984).Results are presented as tables for both the standard stars and theprogram stars. Comparisons are conducted between the present Vmagnitudes and those of the NPZT (1982) and AGK3R (1978) catalogs.

The improvement of the star positions of the Potsdam PZT catalog
Regular determinations of the right ascension and declination of starswith the aid of a photographic zenith tube (PZT) were begun in ageodetic-astronomical observatory of the German Democratic Republic in1972. Results obtained during the years 1972 and 1973 were used for afirst improvement of stellar positions listed in the Third Catalog(Katalog) of the 'Astronomische Gesellschaft' (Astronomical Society)AGK3. The corrections resulted in a distinct improvement of the accuracyof the positional values. However, the possibility could not be excludedthat the results were still affected by remaining errors with systematiccharacteristics. In order to eliminate the considered deficiencies, newstellar coordinate corrections were computed on the basis of aconsiderably larger data set. The new catalog containing the reviseddata has been called PZT 80, while the data obtained on the basis of thefirst observations are listed in PZT 74. The new catalog is presented inthe appendix.

A spectrophotometric survey of stars along the Milky Way. IV
In the present paper a catalogue of spectrophotometric quantities, spectral types, monochromatic magnitudes and colour equivalents is givenfor all stars brighter than the magnitude m4400 = 10.5 in aregion of the Milky Way in Perseus. No absorption is found for starscloser than about r = 100 pc. The absorbing clouds are situated atdistances closer than 1 kpc and at about 2.5 kpc in the local arm andthe Perseus arm, respectively. The space between the two arms is freefrom absorption. It is also concluded that the Perseus arm continuesbeyond l = 140 deg, containing not only hydrogen gas but also dust to atleast l = 150 deg), while the content of OB stars decreases abruptly atl = 140 deg.
